During any political campaign the issue of abortion is going to pop up. I am pro-choice for everything and abortion is certainly no exception but I think we may have left someone out in this debate.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of experiencing something that I had up till that point not given thought to as something that I would ever encounter. As I was leaving Lifestyle Family Fitness in the Countryside area last evening after working out with my friend Gary, I was approached by the personal Trainer Manager Ryan.
I have only spoken with the man on one or two occasions before and had not been impressed by his ability to communicate with any level of dignity toward the intended recipient. In any case, he asked me to come with him to his office for a "talk", and attempted to have another of the clubs managers, who ignored him, follow. I agreed and walked with him to his office, which is a small room toward the middle of the gym that has two windows.
Immediately upon walking into the room he quickly explained that he had witnessed me training people at the gym on a regular basis and that just earlier this week he had seen me there for three hours doing so, which led to his decision to revoke my...

For days on end congress managed to keep Americans on the edge of their seat with the impending doom that pressed in from every angle... would the bail out come in time or would all the world FADE TO BLACK? Well the bill passed and it includes some ground breaking legislation to make sure that hollywood and such vital industries as wooden arrow manufacturing, are spared the burden of excessive taxation!

 Our country was founded under a set of very clear principles that were annunciated very well in our constitution. The 20th century was a great and sad time for our COMMON heritage and saw the theft of our history by religious interests. While this issue seems to have been forgotten by many, I offer the pledge of allegiance as an example of this terrible crime against posterity.

Everyone is so focused, and rightfully so, on the incredible price of oil and thus gasoline. Yet, there is so much "to-do" surrounding the subject that any serious and progressive discussion of energy policy always includes the futile notion of "dill baby drill". I say let em drill.

Sarah Palin can come up with some amazing things, some of them just inane but some of them frightening. During the debates with Joe Biden she mentioned the fact that she would pursue some greater authority for her office and backed it up with the fact that she is thankful that the founding fathers allowed for such flexibility in the constitution.
